We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the role of Learning and Engagement Facilitator at Pearl Supported Care. Located in Darwin’s beautiful beachside suburb of Fannie Bay, this luxury care centre offers exceptional care and individualised support for all residents.

 

The role is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of the education program for care staff as well as quality activities across Pearl Supported Care and the Home Support Services . You’ll join a team of like minded health care professionals who are committed to healthy ageing and optimal holistic outcomes for our customers. You will seek to maximise the opportunities for learning and drive a culture of growth. Your efforts will ensure that new staff are supported through the co-ordination and delivery of the induction program and mandatory training. You will supervise learning during initial on-boarding of staff and students, assess staff competencies and provide reports to management. In addition, you’ll guide our student learning in Home Support Services, preparing programs for aged care students, as well as activities, supporting mentoring and contributing to assessments.

 

Quality activities including auditing and data analysis are a key component of the role. You’ll maintain accurate audit records including reporting and evaluating results, review e-learning data,surveys and other tools to analyse learning outcomes. As opportunities arise, you may also be required to develop new learning strategies, and support other Clinical Educators.

 

Experienced in working in an aged care environment, you’ll possess a strong customer service mindset and be able to confidently provide competency based training and assessment. Communication-wise you’ll be relatable to people at all levels. Your background should demonstrate a good working knowledge of research, development, implementation and evaluation of audit programs.

 

A Registered Nurse qualification is required for this role, along with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a current CPR Qualification and a valid driver’s licence.
